Bug report - edit item on advaced search

When I open the advaced search window (a list window) from a many-to-many linked field, then I choose (with V check) several items. I want to edit one of the items I checked, but when I double-click on it it gives me a bulk edit window instead of one item edit window.
It looks like the program thinks that I highlighted all the items that are V-checked. but I only V-checked them.

How can I edit a single item from an advaced search list when several items are checked?

I see that the regular (small) many-to-many select window doesn't have this problem so I guess it's a bug.
