When trying to output a document template, the attached message sometimes appears. After several times seeing this, we discovered that we close the open windows explorer window and try again, the document template works correctly.
Any idea why this is?

I've never seen this before and could not reproduce it, but it may be due to timing - i.e. perhaps Word is generating the document very slowly on a busy machine and Clay is attempting to work with it before Word is ready. Please experiment some more and let me know any patterns you notice such as:
- Does it happen often? How many times out of 10 does it happen?
- I assume it only happens with Word and/or PDF output. What version of Word?
- Does the generated file contain a lot of data? Try another template - a simpler one.
- Does it happen on more than one machine?
- Are you doing anything special when generating the template such as sending it as an email? Auto-attaching it?
- Is your temp folder on a network drive by any chance? Perhaps your temp folder is too full?
- And finally, see if your antivirus is causing it by disabling it temporarily. It may be scanning and locking the file.
- Does it happen often? How many times out of 10 does it happen?
