The real memory hog in a Digital-Clay system is the database. So if you are using SQL Server, you will need to follow the SQL Server requirements, which normally requires at least 2GB for itself, which means a 3-4GB system. ClayCentral typically takes up about 50-200MB, and the clients typically use about 30-70MB so they don't have any special requirements.

What a Digital-Clay server usually needs more of, is a fast system, including fast memory, fast CPU and fast system bus speeds. But this isn't a requirement.
