How do I restrict fields to be filled only by letters or numbers?

1. Use a Validation Automation rule to validate records that are added/changed.
2. Add a filter in the Automation Event Handler on that field that uses the 'Matches' keyword.
You can hover your mouse over the filter value for help on the Matches keyword. For example, use [a-zA-Z] for matching any letter, and [0-9] for numbers.
Don't forget you can also right-click on the filter and select "Return results not matching this filter' for a NOT filter.
