Bizarre: Record is Found but blank

Post by miplatt »

We entered a new record to Clay (several of the fields, including the required fields of course) earlier today. When we go back to locate it, it appears in the filter list and we can open the record but it is completely blank! No details. Plus, we cannot deactivate it until we reenter the details. However, the drop boxes are empty and all of the fields are empty. Any idea what might have happened? How to address the issue and complete the record so that it is complete and functions properly?

Can you see the field values in a list (when you add them as columns) except when you double-click on it to open the record in a form, then the same fields (all fields) appear blank?

If so, then it's quite a coincidence since we found this rare bug recently and there will be a fix soon. But make sure it matches the description above.

Yes, in the columns of the filter menu we see some of the values that were entered but then when opening the form all fields are blank.

So what should be done about that record for now? Just not touch it and wait until the fix? No sense in creating more than one.

If you can wait a few days then you can leave it as is. I don't think you will be able to delete it either. If you need to work with it however, just create a new one and delete the old one later.

Ok, thanks. Will leave alone for now.
