Retrieving Data
Retrieving Data
If someone deleted/erased record in Clay, is the only way to retrieve the data by replacing the current ClayCentral mdb file with a backup mdb from a day or two earlier in which those records were stored? Is there another way?

Re: Retrieving Data
That is the only supported method. Manually re-inserting the data from the old database with SQL queries is technically feasible but is not supported and it can easily become a nightmare when you take into account linked records, attachments, histories, etc.
This is exactly why deleting is not allowed for non-admins by default, and should never be permitted. Records should be inactivated (change a status field) not deleted. Alternatively, records could be 'marked' for deletion and then deleted by a manager after careful review.
