Saving auto fill field value
By using auto fill event i have filled the drop down list by linking with different field other than name field from linked table, here its populating that field but when adding the record its not saving the field value which i have linked for respective table.

I'm not sure I understood. Where exactly do you expect the auto-filled value to be saved?
There is a common misconception about linked fields: All linked fields are ALWAYS linked based on the ID field. The Name field is only used for display. When you are using auto-fill to show fields in a drop-down other than the Name field, this is only for display and is never saved. Internally, the link is done via the ID field.
