Is it possible to import data into digital clay custom defined tables from Excel source files?
How to do this and how to implement the mapping between the source and the target?
Thanks

Yes. Use the ClayIntegrator client which is installed with the normal install and should be in your start menu. It lets you select a source, and map fields easily to any table.
Re: How to import from external sources
By trying to import the excel file, I get the next error: "AddObject2 Unexpected error: (ערך כבר קיים במערכת)"
In the log file the same message is written. The message isn't informative and it's hardly to get the real problem. By trying to add the same record as in excel, manually from digital clay, it works good.
What can cause such an error

Two possibilities:
- You added a unique index to one or more of your fields and your mapped fields don't take care of duplicate values in that field.
- You are running an older alpha version.
