How can I display data from more than one table in a single Form ?
Also, is it possible to add/edit the data from this Form so that it would create/update records in both the tables at a time?
(For example, i have a two tables created: Employee and Resource. However, when i add a particular type of employee, it should create new records in both the tables)

Re: Multiple tables update
Currently, it is only possible to display data from several tables in a form, but not to edit. To display data from another table you can either:
-Add a Custom Field of type Function to the table which retrieves a value from another table. This is only appropriate for a handful of fields though, not for displaying complete records.
-Use Related Items or a Custom List Tab to show lists of related records.
-Use Automation to copy fields from related tables into the current record. Theoretically you can create bi-directional Automation rules to copy the values to/from related records but obviously this isn't very elegant and should be used sparingly.
If the changes to the other record can be automated then you can also create Automation rules that create/change related records.
Don't forget that you can edit related records very easily by double-clicking in a linked field, or by double-clicking an item in a related list.
We are planning to add support for editing fields in another table using a new type of custom tab, but this will only be implemented in many months time. In our experience, customers get used to using two forms for editing two tables easily since the separation is usually very logical and it is very easy to open the related record.
