This topic is only relevant for Digital-Clay version 9.2 and below due to the fact that Clay is a 32bit application interacting with a 64bit MS Office application.

Clay interacts with MS Office in the following ways:

• Exporting Clay data, and generating documents in Word/Excel/PDF formats (e.g. 'Generate Document' and 'Export' functionality). This works fine regardless of the version of MS Office.

• Opening attachments that are in Word/Excel format. There are no issues here either.

• Importing data from Excel files using ClayIntegrator: This will only work if 32 bit Excel drivers have been installed on the machine. The 32bit drivers can be installed by installing the MS package called “Microsoft Access Database Engine Redistributable”. This can be downloaded from here . Make sure you install the 32bit version. If the installer refuses to run due to 64bit Office, you can override it by using this in the command line: “AccessDatabaseEngine.exe /passive”

• ClayOutlook: This Clay client (9.2 and below) only runs on 32bit Outlook.
