I'm sorry but I don't understand what it is you wish to do exactly. A template is normally for generating documents or reports, not for performing changes. Unless you are referring to the Item Template in toolbars for adding new records with default values and layouts...
Perhaps it would help if you described the specific functionality that you wish to provide to the user...
P.S. Please reply to this topic instead of creating a new topic.

Sorry for the confusion. I am rephrasing the question. Is Digital clay has provision to delete multiple items from the list? If yes, what is the template to be used? (For ex: We are displaying list of employees. I would like delete multiple employees at a time just by selecting the employees from the list)

To delete multiple records in a list simply select the ones you want to delete, right click on them and select delete.
Alternatively, you can find the records you want to delete using filters then select all of them (Ctrl-A) and delete them using the above method.
Again, I'm not sure what you mean by a template but this is the method for deleting multiple records that match a pattern.
Also keep in mind that users should generally not be given permissions to delete. They should either inactivate records or merge them. Deleting records breaks links in other records and makes it impossible for companies to track historical data and is therefore not recommended. By default, non-administrators do not have delete permissions.
