We have noticed that although updates have reached 9.1.108, our system is still at 9.1.103 and the system has not requested to auto-updated in many months.

What might be the reason for this? The WebUpdate4 service is running so that it seemingly not the problem.

Check that auto-update is switched on the ClayCentral Settings. And check that there is an internet connection for ClayCentral that isn't being blocked by anything.

P.S. I assume you checked the WebUpdate4 service on the server not the client. You can also check the log file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WebUpdateSvc4.log

Yes, WebUpdate4 service running on server and client. Internet ok. In claycentral settings, the "run automatic updates" is checked and the box next to it says "4"

Here attached is the log. Not sure it is so helpful.

As you can see from the log, the last time it ran was 02/28/18.

If all your checks are Ok (especially firewalls) then there is one more possiblity: You installed WebClaystation. ClayCentral auto-updates don't work when it is installed since WebClay cannot be auto-updated (ClayCentral+WebClay need manual updates).

We have not installed webclaystation.

Ok looks like we found the problem in ClayCentral 9.1 code. However, you will have to upgrade ClayCentral (not the clients) manually this one time.

Hmmm. Interesting. Ok, have not upgraded central manually in a long time. Hopefully will go smoothly.

Just kill Central service, run the full install including the ClayCentral option. Rest is automatic.
