After installing the new 9.0.26, we are encountering a problem.

When adding a new record, the system will not allow saving even after entering all data. a message comes up saying that the 4 required fields were not entered (even though they were).

Why is this? Suggestions? See attached

Strange. That area of the code wasn't touched and I also tested addons at my end and they all work. If nothing changed on your end then I'm guessing it is because the clay 9.0.26 uses the latest version of Internet Explorer and your old addon javascript code is not compatible with that. One would need to debug the addon javascript code. I can try taking a quick look at it if you attach it and tell me your exact IE version.

(P.S. in case you aren't aware, that screenshot is showing an HTML addon 'URL tab' that contains custom javascript code inside it. Addons are typically in c:\digitalclay\addons\)

We have internet explorer 11. here is the file that applies to that tab in clay.

Thanks. Turns out to be a bug with the communication between Clay and IE11. There should be a new version out very soon.

Ok, terrific, thanks. Looking forward to it. So we will keep the entity.html as it is.

The sooner the better. Due to this issue, we cannot enter or alter any entities/records and save them. This is quite debilitating. Thanks

Well, you can use the normal Clay tabs in your layout to enter values temporarily instead of the addon so you shouldn't be stuck. But don't worry, there should be a release today or tomorrow.

Ok, the update enabled the URL tab to respond and save data.

However, the notes fields on the URL tab do not save data entered.

Suggestions?

That's frustrating - it is a completely different issue which is now fixed. But we can't make another release so soon. But I believe I may have found a workaround for you by adding some javascript to your addon. Try the attached and let me know if it doesn't fix the issue.
