Is there any way to enable to an average user (with less technical aptitude and patience) to import an excel spreadsheet with contacts' information to be inputted/merged into the database? Perhaps with a fixed layout of the spreadsheet and automations?

Of course. All you have to do is setup an import session file yourself using ClayIntegrator, and save it. Then either show the user how to load this session file in ClayIntegrator (the user will be asked whether to run it right away), or setup a batch file that runs this session file (run "clayintegrator.exe /?" for help).

Automations are obviously no problem since they run in the background.
