Indeed. The file you sent seems to have fixed the issue.

I understand that you cannot make another release so soon. Any idea though when the next one might be (are we talking a matter of days? weeks? months?)

Depends on if and what new bugs arrive. It may or may not take weeks. But if the workaround fixes the addon then what's the problem?

Could be unrelated but over the past few days, we have noticed an additional problem.

The system hangs on many occasions but not every time-- for example, when trying to log in it will hang for a while and then say it timed out and contact the administrator. but upon attempting logon again at some point it does connect quickly. Or when trying to open a contact or record, sometimes it will hang and sometimes not.

I have not been able to think of or detect any anomalies related to our server or computers that would suggest any kind of network changes in the last few days.

this really hinders our work.

what else could be the issue? Any ideas?

Well it is definitely unrelated to the addon issue but it may or may not be related to the new version. Since the infrastructure code hasn't changed between these versions however, I would definitely bet on something else unrelated to Clay. Try all of the following:
-Reboot the machine that is running ClayCentral

-Make sure nothing else is running on the server machine that is stealing all of its resources (check CPU usage and RAM usage). Make sure the slowdown isn't due to an overzealous updated antivirus program for example. While you are at it, clean out the system temp directory on the server machine (c:\Windows\temp).

-Run database maintenance: See http://digital-clay.com/support/wiki/do ... management. I've seen plenty of system slowdowns where the problem was a fragmented database. Run the compacting tasks and defragmenting tasks listed in that page.

Also when you get timeouts, check in ClayStudio under Users/Connections whether the automation queue is full. In other words see whether it is related to how busy ClayCentral is at the moment.
