Is it possible in Clay Integrator to setup a retry of a scheduled import if the process failed?
For example, an event is scheduled to import data at 12:00 AM, Integrator fails to connect to the external database, Integrator looks up what to do, and I schedule it to retry the import in 15 minutes. Also, if this exists, how many levels error handling can I define? i.e. do I define "retry every 15 minutes until success", or "retry every 15 minutes 3 times and then report failure", or can I define complex procedure like "retry in 15 minutes, if failed retry again in 1 hour" etc.
And one more related question, can Clay Integrator send an email report or trigger Clay Central to send an email report regarding a scheduled event's outcome (beyond simply logging it).

Re: Clay Integrator error handling
Currently, there is no built in scheduling system - users use the Windows Task Scheduler. Since ClayIntegrator doesn't talk to external programs, there is currently no way to easily handle errors externally and retry or report.
Since scheduling is done by an external program, the only thing I can think of for now is for a custom-coded external code to automatically read the output log and scan it for errors, then email the log or run the clayintegrator again as needed.
I noted down your feature suggestions, but they will have to be done in a future version which will have its own built in scheduling. There is no target date for this feature yet.

Re: Clay Integrator error handling
Would it be possible to direct the output log to a directory the is "monitored" by DC and setup an automation that whenever a new file is found in that folder it emails the file to a certain address? I seem to remember a similar feature of triggering some automation when a new file was placed in a specific folder.

You're thinking of File Injection. But that needs to be an XML file in a specific format for adding/updating records so it's not applicable to a log file.
