What is the timeframe for clay to connect to a secure mail server?
We're trying to avoid a VPN at this point and focus on an open but encrypted transfer.
Is it possible to secure the TCP connection? Do we need to do this at the firewall level or can we install an SSL certificate on Clay so it can ...

I wanted to know if
1) it's possible to have DC connection to an email server using SSL/TLS?
or
2) if it's possible to for me to encrypt the data using a standard cypher (we should be able to use anything from http://www.php.net/manual/en/mcrypt.ciphers.php) and then you decrypt it on your side ...
